Seccuris Previews Cloud-Based Information Security Service

Seccuris Inc
. (Booth #520) is previewing its new OneStone Information Assurance Portal at the Fall 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

Developed to be sold through a recently launched channel partner program, OneStone is a cloud-based information security service that provides customers, in all lines of business, 24×7 visibility into security issues and risks across the enterprise, the company said.

Using Seccuris’ advanced security information and event-management technology, OneStone enables customers to select various services such as: threat and vulnerability management, asset classification and tracking, and business threat and risk assessments through a software-as-a-service portal. The OneStone dashboard provides executives, security practitioners, and IT personnel a view of relevant, summarized, and detailed information on the organization’s security posture and overall enterprise risk level.

The information provided by OneStone focuses on incidents actually impacting the business – supporting what Seccuris says is effective risk-based decision making at all levels of the organization – based on accurate real-time information about the organization’s current security posture and exposure to the external environment.

To more effectively sell its managed security services in the North American market, Seccuris has developed a resale partner program aimed primarily at managed service providers (MSPs) and telecommunications companies. The addition of cloud-based managed security services provides MSPs and telcos additional high value services for their traditional managed and network service customers.

“Our partner program requires minimal capital expenditure, resources and expertise, and excellent value for customers and return for resellers. Seccuris provides: the technology; a simple to use cloud-based service, setup and on-boarding processes; and, an enhanced security operations center and expert security analysts to support the service on a 24×7 basis,” says Harold Hermann, Seccuris’ director of channel management.
